Supervisor Inventory

 

Do you enjoy setting up an Inventory Control department and building a team to solve Inventory problems, but also to establish good processes? Is leadership one of your best qualities and do you have analytical and problem-solving abilities? Then perhaps you are the right candidate for the position of Supervisor Inventory in 's-Heerenberg!  


What will you be doing? 
As a Supervisor Inventory you are responsible for managing and analysing the stock, the damage process and solving internal and external questions regarding missing items, stock differences and damage. You report directly to the Operations Manager and manage an average of 5 to 10 employees.  


The core activities consist of, among others: 

  • Distributing the daily activities and acting as first point of contact for the employees;
  • Monitoring progress and discussing deviations with the Operations Manager; 
  • Conducting result and development interviews with your employees; 
  • Managing sick leave of your employees; 
  • Taking care of the personnel planning of your department;  
  • Responsible for location management; 
  • Contributing to the improvement of the logistics process, by identifying and discussing (common) deviations in 
  • (common) deviations in stock data and actual stock;  
  • Making proposals for the improvement of the existing logistic process or systems and warehouse layout from observed deviations or observations; 
  • Maintaining internal and external contacts regarding stock (differences). To this end, among other things: Matching data, tracing incorrect bookings, solving issues;
  • Reporting findings and explaining deviations, both internally and externally; 
  • Handling complaints from the customer(s), indicating possible problems/bottlenecks, thinking along with the customer towards suitable solutions, operational consultation with the customer(s); 
  • Drawing up stock reports for both internal and external use.

  • A salary in accordance with the collective labour agreement for DSV Solutions (Dutch branches), which, based on the knowledge and experience that you bring with you, lies between € 2.377,36 and € 3.659,90;
  • Other attractive secondary employment conditions, such as commuting allowance, collective health insurance, bicycle plan, holiday allowance of 8% and more.
