Move forward as Site Manager at DSV in ‘s-Heerenberg

For our location in ’s-Heerenberg we are looking for a site manager who looks beyond today and plays a key role in the further development of this site.

Further professionalising and expanding a dynamic multi-client warehouse operation within a 3PL environment, where performance, customer focus and value-added services come together. You are the one who provides direction, connects teams and delivers results: you’re on it.

How you do this? As site manager you combine operational leadership with strategic insight. You oversee the full operation and ensure it perfectly aligns with the growth ambitions of both our customers and DSV. With your vision and experience, you are able to design future-proof processes, identify commercial opportunities and implement improvements that add value in both the short and long term.

ou are visibly present on the shop floor, motivating and developing employees while empowering them to take responsibility. At the same time, you act as an equal sparring partner for customers on both tactical and strategic levels. You translate customer expectations into concrete plans and ensure alignment between operations, customer requirements and business objectives.

In addition, you are responsible for monitoring and achieving KPIs, steering performance and workforce planning, and ensuring the financial results (P&L) of the site. You leverage data and systems to enable continuous optimisation and actively contribute to building an entrepreneurial culture where collaboration, quality and ownership are central. You achieve this by:

• realising an efficient operation where KPIs, quality, and customer commitments are central;
• translating customer growth and market dynamics into scalable, future-oriented solutions;
• building strong customer relationships and actively contributing to commercial and contractual development;
• developing an agile and strong team that dares to take responsibility and shows initiative.

You bring

• proven experience managing large-scale logistics operations within a 3PL environment;
• strategic, commercial, and analytical thinking skills with which you understand, improve, and grow processes in line with customer needs;
• inspiring leadership: you know how to connect people, develop them, and empower them;
• excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, enabling you to effectively liaise at all levels within and outside the organisation.
