We set the strategic direction for the regions

You will be part of Global Operations, Vestas, in Aarhus. We are a new team who has the overall strategic responsibility for our 5 regions: Northern Europe, Southern Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

Together, we are more than 300 colleagues who ensure that Vestas' wind turbines arrive safely from factory to wind turbine farm - no matter where in the world.

Our mission is to develop and implement initiatives that improve and standardize our processes and transportation solutions across regions - including in the reporting area, where your job will be to ensure that standards are implemented, updated, and complied with globally.

You ensure that the standards are complied with

As it is a newly created team, the management is in the process of setting the structure and direction globally and it will be your role to execute on the standards that are complied with. You will have a central role in the implementation of the standards globally - and it will be you who ensures that the DSV organization and thus the customer is always up to date on processes, and that these are complied with. It is expected that you can streamline and simplify the processes, this is done by facilitating information flow and collaboration across functions and geography.

Specifically, you will have to:

  • Act as a link across the DSV Regions to ensure compliance with processes and guidelines.
  • Support DSV Finance with information from the operation, as well as ensure monthly reporting on Global P&L.
  • Create an overview and transparency of profitability and operational performance for management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction reporting, and reporting of other non-financial issues.
  • Update, manage, implement and maintain SOP / IOP, product catalogs, marketing materials, etc.
  • General support for the other global functions and projects.
  • Identify and address lack of data discipline globally.

You adhere to deadlines, and have a talent for motivating the organization to comply with standards as well as ensuring that they understand the necessity of this. You love the forwarding environment, where frequent and constant changes take place - and where you are prepared to take on new tasks at short notice.
