| Business Support Specialist, Warehousing 3PL |
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process daily warehouse billing for inbound and outbound shipments, including storage fees and handling charges.
- Verify all billing documents against the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare and submit monthly billing reports to the finance department for reconciliation.
- Communicate directly with clients to address billing inquiries, discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Review operational instructions and verify them against contract terms to ensure correct rate application.
- Generate and issue client invoices in accordance with agreed formats, providing both electronic and hard copies as required.
- Organize, maintain, and archive billing-related documentation, including reports, invoices, contracts, and financial records.
- Upload invoices and supporting documentation to client e-portals in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform monthly financial reconciliations, ensuring all interoffice and closed billings are properly recorded and cleared.
- Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports on billing status, trends, and key performance indicators.
- Prepare monthly revenue forecasts using historical data, current trends, and anticipated workload.
- Summarize and present total monthly financial figures related to warehouse billing activities.
- Maintain a comprehensive monthly billing tracker and distribute it to relevant internal stakeholders for transparency and review.
- Performing any other related duties / projects assigned by the Manager/Supervisor from time to time to meet the business needs.
Qualifications & Characteristics:
Education – Bachelor Degree in Accounting of Finance, Logistics & Supply Chain
Work Experience – At least 2 years experience in accounting in similar capacity.
