For one of our largest clients in electronics retail, we are looking for a dedicated account manager. You ensure that our internal teams and the client stay focused, expectations remain realistic, and plans stay actionable. You are the strategic link that keeps both internal teams and the client on track and drives results. Set the course and create focus: You’re on it.
How you do this? This role was created at the request of our client, who is looking for a dynamic professional who shows commitment and takes ownership. This client is one of the largest global accounts within our contract logistics division. As part of the global account team, you will participate in QBRs, maintain close contact with stakeholders, and collaborate with a dedicated in-house operations manager. Which is perfect for energetic sparring sessions and personal interaction! You bring clarity to complex customer processes, manage expectations, and develop a multi-year plan that connects commercial opportunities, risks, and operational feasibility. You achieve this by:
- mapping escalations, needs, and additional customer requests and translate these into concrete and actionable business plans or strategies;
- developing an internal multi-year plan that identifies commercial opportunities, involving stakeholders, assesses risks, and ensures the plan’s success;
- acting on the client’s frequent changes and shifting priorities, collaborating to set achievable expectations and deliver results;
- handling of accounts receivable and resolve disputes;
- being the go-to person for the client on operational matters, monitor and safeguard established KPI targets, and deliver periodic client presentations.

You bring
- work experience in a commercial role within contract logistics (3PL);
- a strong personality, able to tackle challenges and strengthen client relationships;
- experience with contract negotiations and a seasoned, professional discussion partner;
- drive, a commercial mindset, and long-term commitment to DSV.
