Job Purpose

To supervise the day- to-day operations and verify the accuracy of stocks in storage and transactions and report on discrepancies upon assessing the RCA and considering the CPA and to be carried out with 100% accuracy and safety, whilst ensuring procedures Quality, Health & Safety, and to ensure that these functions are carried out in a timely, reliable and cost effective manner.

   

Accountabilities

 

  • Organizes and directs operations’ workflow and job responsibilities within the inventory section to ensure 

 effective management of the stock and transaction checks.

  • Supervise on the proper Reporting for stock and transaction checks and to maintain daily records of such checks.
  • Maintains records of inventory and location for production control and cost accounting to ensure adherence to DSV warehouse and distribution procedures
  •  Conducts inventory control through cyclical stock counts to maintain stock integrity and through this, to ensure that financial stock takes, and stock counts are conducted according to client contracts and DSV cyclical requirements. This would ensure that stock integrity is maintained in line with WMS
  • Perpetually follows up on discrepancies, non-conformities and reports on developments and inaction daily.
  • Coordinates with the Quality Coordinators on the micro level for expediting resolving of pending issues.
  • Coordinates between warehouse, and operations cell for identifying Root Cause Analysis and Corrective & Preventive Action.
  • Identifies scope for training that may have evaded the departmental heads.
  • Verifies Reports forwarded by various departments for accuracy / contradictions.
  • Monitor and follow up on timely update of data on WMS

Education Graduate in any discipline Experience

Competencies

WMS & Fluency in English is a must

Sound knowledge of MHE operation (VA, RT, OP, PPT)

Computer literate MS Office Skills

Advance Excel Skills

Able to operate a RF scanner unit
