Payroll Officer – Join the Team Behind the Payslips!

We're looking for a Payroll Officer who has a keen eye for detail, is a team player and understands that payroll is about more than numbers—it's about people.

We'll consider candidates for either our Sydney (Enfield) or Melbourne (Tullamarine) locations

What You'll Be Doing

·         Processing end-to-end payroll accurately and on time

·         Managing payroll queries with a friendly and helpful approach

·         Maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring data integrity

·         Processing payroll changes including new starters, terminations, and salary updates

·         Assisting with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities

·         Working closely with HR and Finance teams to keep everything running smoothly

·         Helping identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency

What We're Looking For

·         Approximately 3 years' experience in a payroll position

·         Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

·         Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

·         A positive customer service ethic, team-focused attitude and great communication skills

·         Confidence using Excel and Payroll related technologies

·         Good understanding of payroll legislation, awards, superannuation, and payroll compliance requirements

Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience using iChris or Chris21 (desirable)
Experience working in a large or complex organisation with white and blue collar employees
Exposure to payroll reporting and reconciliations
