DSV Solutions  is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate White Gloves Delivery Driver in AUS - Altona, Ajax Road 

The role:

• Safe and efficient driving of the company vehicles within the allotted time scales for the various transport requirements
• Load and unload and place in position fragile freight using the appropriate handling devices
• Check that all fragile freight against appropriate documentation is received and delivered and have the customer sign the consignment note upon dispatch and receipt of goods
• All required delivery and customer documentation is prepared correctly using accurate information
• To monitor the operation and performance of the company vehicle, report deficiencies and request maintenance repairs as required 
• Perform daily / weekly checks and basic maintenance on all company vehicles before leaving the depot
• The Driver is expected to keep the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition internally & externally within company standards
• Direct Vehicle Off-sider and supervise their on-the-job performance
• At times you will be required as a Driver to travel away from home for up to several nights per trip
• Assist with the physical lifting and movement of freight at delivery locations, sometimes in difficult to access areas
• Complete warehousing tasks such as housekeeping, rack dismantling, and waste sortation when there are no deliveries

About you: 

• Previous experience in Freight Forwarding/Supply Chain Warehouse environment
• Valid MR-HR driver’s license
• 4WD/ Difficult Terrain certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain Yellow Badge security clearance
• General WHS awareness of legislative and company requirements
