How do you do this? You are part of a regional team of process and application engineers, where knowledge sharing is key. You often take on a coordinating role in large-scale projects and always strive for the most efficient execution of our logistics services, tailored to the needs of both internal and external customers. You achieve this by:

•    proactively proposing improvements and solutions for our warehouse management system (Redprairie / JDA Dispatcher);
•    participating in projects, such as setting up new customer implementations or migrating existing customers;
•    identifying deviations and trends in reports. For recurring issues, you seek the root cause and collaborate with your team on sustainable solutions within the system.

Your team at DSV stands out for its efficient communication. As an application engineer, you have a lot of freedom and responsibility and work with advanced technologies. In short, you play a crucial role in the development of our logistics services.

You bring

•    a completed relevant higher education in logistics, supply chain, IT, or a similar field, supplemented with about 3 years of experience in a similar role;
•    knowledge of logistics processes, warehouse management systems, and SQL, preferably combined with experience in logistics automation/mechanization;
•    analytical skills and the ability to translate operational and external customer needs into IT specifications;
•    strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
