DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Warehouse Operator in Auckland.

This is a critical role within the logistics supply chain, responsible for ensuring customer goods are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This position involves a dual focus: spending approximately 60% of the time on physical warehouse tasks, such as picking and packing orders, and 40% on administrative duties, including completing and processing paperwork as per established procedures.

Your typical day at DSV:

- Accurately picking and packing goods according to customer requirements, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Managing and completing all associated paperwork, ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies.
- Acting as the liaison between warehouse operations and warehouse coordinators, providing vital updates and information.
- Regularly updating the progression boards with actual activities completed to ensure transparency and efficient workflow management.

- Identifying and suggesting improvements to warehouse processes to enhance productivity and reduce errors.

- Transport coordination, including consigning freight, reverse logistics, and scheduling deliveries.
- Rework and kitting tasks, including bundling products for clients and re-labelling as needed.
 

About You:

- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems or Transport Systems. competent user of MS Outlook.
- Proficient in picking and packing small goods using RF and standard order methods.
- Aptitude for numeracy – able to calculate weights and cubes, cycle counting.
- Competent at filing systems for paperwork.
- Good communication skills.

- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
