Job Functions - Principal Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain close and beneficial relationships with Global and Regional Key accounts where applicable. Coordinate and steer IV sales activities with Regional and Business units.
- Identify target accounts into Dynamics, volume and GP opportunities must be at least 3 times for sales target.
- Build a pro-active sales approach towards the Strategic Accounts based on the customer needs and the Unique Selling Propositions of DSV.
- Direct and oversee global bids and proposals on his/her Strategic Key accounts, owning final responsibility for the commercial proposition in line with Corporate policies and customer solutions of tenders and bids. Agree and align final commercial proposition with Regional Industry Vertical, Corporate Product, Corporate Tender Management.
- Identify and develop new markets and Industry Vertical specific products in close cooperation with Sales/Key Account Director and Product Heads
- Act as Industry Vertical Expert within the country and is responsible for sharing and increasing Industry knowledge and know-how across Area and BU Sales Teams.
- Coordinate and proper execution of the Account plan and any other (Strategic) Key Account projects, in cooperation with Sales/Key Account Director and Product Heads
- Provide profit guidelines to product teams for ad-hoc quotations on the assigned SKA.
- Prepare RFI & RFQ Post-Mortem analysis and share with Tender Management, Products and any other relevant internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in International Business, Logistics or related field.
- Language: Native Japanese speaking and proficient in English both verbal and written
- Field of Experience: 5-8 years of relevant business experience
- Specific Job Qualifications:
- Consolidation (NVOCC)
- Extensive knowledge of respective industry verticals including trends, opportunity and threats
- Competent in industrial market, customers, competitors, suppliers, overalls environment and major trade lanes
- Ability to influence customers and negotiate skills
- Good knowledge of forwarding and Supply Chain Management, IT Systems
- Computer Skills: Competent in MS Office and web-based applications
