Summary

As an Analyst for the Air and Sea Warehouse and logistics department at DSV, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data for our warehouses across the nation. Updating resources to make sure they are current.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect, compile and analyze data from different sources. Some of these sources include WMS Tools such as CargoWise, CargoWrite, and C2C. Other sources can include Excel files, Databases, and more
• Use root cause analysis to help discover patterns and trends within the data.
• Generate daily report for stakeholders
• Collaborate with an internal team and stakeholder to gather business requirements for new reports, dashboards and procedures
• Bring new insight to help automate, optimize and refresh existing solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that our SharePoint and other resources are up to date
• Help to train and explain different metrics, processes and KPIs to our internal partners
• Document processes for reporting and SAPs for end users
• Help to run monthly calls for the department

Educational background / Work experience

• College degree in or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or project management roles, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry or a related field.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Pivot)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously under high pressure and within demanding time constraints.

Preferred Qualifications’

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Working with a WMS software such as Cargowise, C2C, or/and Cargowirte
• Experience with querying languages (e.g. SQL) is advantageous

Language skills

• Fluent in English (oral and written)
