DSV are recruiting for a Freight Forwarder in Dublin. This role will support our 24/7 operations supporting both internal and external customers. 

The successful candidate will:

• Work within a well-established department handling imports / exports / air / ocean / cross-trade 

• Report to their Supervisor and aim to achieve monthly targets and KPI’s 

• Have a strong-logic approach and be adaptable to resolve issues on a daily basis 

Key Tasks  

• Monitoring international freight shipments from inception to delivery, guaranteeing adherence to service level and operational protocols 

• Operating Customer Service based on day-today operations. 

• Monitoring Data Quality and Live Updates 

• Issuing documentation including master bills, house bills of lading and ensuring compliance with import/export customs regulations 

• Communicating with our extensive network and carrier partners across the globe 

Duties / Responsibilities 

• Updating customers and swiftly resolving exceptions, exemplifying our commitment to great customer experiences 

• Nurturing revenue streams in alignment with budgetary targets, handling quotations, invoicing, and supplier purchase orders 

• Ensuring legislative compliance in all areas 

Skills and Competencies  

• Knowledge of Air Freight required 

• Excellent problem solving, planning and organisational skills 

• Logical approach and innovative thinking 

• Strong administrative and customer service skills 

• Ability to work under pressure using own initiative
