Freight Forwarder 
Dublin
Mon-Fri, 09.00-17.30, 37.5 hours
Salary €45.000-€50.000 per annum

As an Air Freight Operator, you play a key role in handling shipments from start to finish, ensuring customer expectations are met and operations run smoothly. 

What will you be doing?

•    Use internal systems to manage documentation and operational processes 
•    Organise workflows to meet customer deadlines and service levels 
•    Communicate with customers to gather relevant information and ensure their needs are met Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements 
•    Maintain customer profiles and standard operating procedures (SOPs) 
•    Resolve customer issues and escalate where necessary 
•    Coordinate with subcontractors and partners to arrange transport of goods 
•    Raise invoices to customers and overseas offices in line with agreed rates 
•    Monitor profitability of shipments and maintain financial awareness 
•    Complete all administrative tasks in line with company policies and procedures

About you

•    Experience in air freight operations and a solid understanding of the air freight market 
•    Ability to negotiate with airlines, suppliers, and international offices 
•    Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills 
•    Excellent communication skills, including phone-based customer interaction 
•    High attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure 
•    Strong administrative and customer service mindset 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word 
•    Good commercial awareness and understanding of cost and profitability
