DSV are recruiting for a Client Account Manager in Bristol or anywhere in the UK with regular visits to DSV Bristol. This role will join our team based in Pharma/ Life Science. 

 

  • Our Client Account Management team manage the relationship with our client base, taking full ownership of their customer satisfaction and development, to ensure profitable growth for DSV. 

 

  • The role interacts closely with product staff, working across all departments and all modes. 

 

  • The CAM team bring key value to their customers and the business by building trust, and ensuring they identify opportunities that benefit all parties. Our goal is to retain and develop loyal customers for a long-term mutually agreeable partnership. 

 

Key Tasks  

  • Management of all modes of client accounts – retention and development 

  • Exhausting all opportunities within your client base 

  • Customer service – Making sure that the customer feels important and valued 

  • Understand your customer and their logistic requirements 

  • Handling complaints, challenging processes & identifying improvements 

  • Updating CRM Dynamics (calls, visits & opportunities all logged in Dynamics) 

  • Management of accounts with Dynamics and ensure team standards are applied 

  • Profiling all existing accounts, identifying opportunities for development 

  • Ensuring a structured handover on all accounts from Sales to CAM 

  • Reviewing monthly customer activity, and analysing reasons for up and down traders

 

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Supporting any projects when required 

  • Retaining knowledge of DSV products / services – Making sure that all customers are aware of all products  

  • Working with our Customer Defection forecasting tool, NPS Customer satisfaction programme, and At-Risk Accounts reporting  

  • Set up of KPI reporting and MYDSV and any other support tools, when applicable 

 

Skills and Competencies 

  • 3+ years’ work-related experience 

  • A positive thinker 

  • Determination to exceed expectations without being easily deterred from achieving goals 

  • Excellent interpersonal & administration skills 

  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the business 

  • Good persuasion and negotiation skills 

  • Excellent processing & time management skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint 

  • Ability to drive success through initiative, determination & persistence
