QHSE Administrator

The Role:
Provide administrative support to the QHSE Department including data entry, CSR data collection, risk assessment/safe system of work administration and other safety/environmental administration
Responsible for:
- Monitoring of audit, training and adverse events systems
- Maintain relevant HSE documents
- Help prepare HSE induction paperwork for new starters (and other such administration linking QHSE and Human Resources)
- Assist in booking training courses and monitoring training requirements
- Assist with sub-contractor paperwork and tenders
- Maintenance and statistical analysis of any accident/near-miss records
- Quality auditing of site QHSE procedures.
- Perform general administrative support, assistance and other related duties as and when required
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent knowledge/capability in Microsoft Excel
- Previous health and safety and/or environmental administration experience
- Strong numeracy and writing
- Ability to act professionally and discreetly
- Excellent interpersonal skills/good communicator
- Professional telephone manner
- Ability to multi-task and manage own workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience within the Transport and Logistics would be preferred
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ qualification would be desirable
- Experience (or qualification) relating to management systems such as Quality ISO 9001 / Environmental ISO 14001 / Health & Safety ISO 45001
- Knowledge/capability to use SAP
