Position Purpose:

To ensure warehouse operation is according to company Compliance rules and regulations and best management practice. He/she is to ensure that the quality of service to clients is high.

Position Functions - Principal Accountabilities:

• To ensure smooth warehouse operations.

• To ensure full compliance with company QHSE policies.

• To ensure zero accident in the workplace.

• Implement proper training for staff regarding material handling methods.

• Coordinate with Implementation to bring about best practice in warehouse management.

• Full participation with Implementation and Business Development teams to bring about successful implementation of new project.

• Set KPIs, targets, and goals for monitoring and evaluating operations and cost effectiveness.

• On the lookout for cost improvement methods.

• Constantly seek solutions to increase efficiency.

• Coordinate and control outsourced labor providers to continuous and reliable services

• Liaison with Government Body in terms of Documents Submission and Inspection of Hazardous Materials / Dangerous Goods and Energy business (Petrochemicals, Chemicals).

• Maintain clean, safe and orderly warehouse.

• To control and maintain Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System effectively in responsible area.

• To participate and support activities related to Environmental Management

• System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System of DSV.

• Other duties as assigned by Superior.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Logistics engineering, Logistics management or related field

• Excellent English proficiency

• Minimum experience 10 years in warehouse operations / logistics & supply chain management and 3 years in management level

• Hand-on experience in warehouse Operation or 3PL management

• Good presentation skill and ability to communicate effectively in English

• Financial and budgeting skills, experienced in P&L Management

• Strong communication, organization and leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Specific Job qualifications/Classes:

Warehouse management, safety storage, WMS, hazardous materials handling, DG, safety training in warehouse equipment.

Computer Skills:

WMS, SAP, MS Office
