Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, team development, and financial management. The role demands both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive branch growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
- Ensure excellent customer service by fostering an environment of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Regularly visit key clients to identify opportunities for further business development.
- Oversee branch operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.

- Use financial reports to manage cash flow, improve transportation yield, and control expenses.
- Focus on driving profitable growth by increasing revenue and improving operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to keep the branch competitive in the freight forwarding market.
- Leverage market insights to adapt and enhance the branch’s operational performance.
- Work closely with the leadership team to align branch goals with overall company objectives.
- Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and constructive feedback within the branch.
- Travel as required.

Educational background / Work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in the freight forwarding industry, or 10 years of equivalent work experience is preferred.

Language skills
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Physical Demands

For this position, the expected base pay is: $111,000 - $166,000 / Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
