Purpose of the position
Key player for Air Export Product.
• Assisting Air Freight Manager for Overall operation related to Air Exports
• Responsible to maintaining accurate profitability per month (Revenue / Cost)
• Liaising with Subordinates and peers on daily basis in handling jobs as per criticality and follow up until done.
• Maintain relationship with Airlines / Handling Agents / Overseas offices etc.
• Ensure that all job files are closed once execution is complete within the allotted time frame.
Key Tasks
• Maintaining DSR on daily basis for ready reference.
• Follow up on daily job during day start and completion per deadline, job planning for complete day.
• Ensuring clear communication to all related parties for shipments specifically for critical ones.
• Follow up with Airlines export cargoes on regular basis and make sure that all shipment fly on time and documents delivered in time from airlines.
• Responsible for payment follow up / collection for credit customer for nomination shipments
• Responsible to make sure documents are not getting released without 100% payment for Cash Customer, any TDS deduction must be on letter head from customer to maintain proper accounting / future follow up.
• Ensure to follow company procedures and policies in terms of document handling / secrecy / accounts etc.
• Providing quality / high level of service to all customers irrespective of volume / revenue.
• Problem solving with own experience and/or approaching manager with solutions.
• Identify future problems based on current situation and take proactive action
• Approaching existing customer for their other business irrespective of mode of shipment
• Extending assistance to customer service on business which is handed by them
• Respond to overseas / local queries for DDU/DDP shipments and other rate requests

Decision authority as delegated by the Manager Air Freight Exports/Manager Air Freight, in accordance with DSV regulations

Skills/Knowledge/Competencies
• Problem Solving Skills.
• Able to find out solutions and/or approach manager with different solutions to resolve the problem without any liability to company.
• Excellent Team Player.
• Good communication skill (oral / written).
Educational background / Work experience
• Graduate. Added qualification will be preferred
• 2 – 4 years/ 4 – 6 years’ experience in forwarding industry and well versed with industry knowledge for air imports
Language Skills
• Fluent in English (other languages depending on the location)
Computer Literacy
• MS Office skills and good knowledge regarding IT systems
• Excellent command on companies IT system tools like CW1/ CRM /SAP etc.
