Sales Manager – Cargo Insurance

 

We are looking for a new colleague to increase sales of cargo insurance in the Northern American Region. The job will focus on sales support to operations and product development in the entire region as well as some direct sales contact to DSV customers.

 

You will be accountable for delivery of sales budget within North America. You will establish and lead sales support within regional scope and ensure market driven approach to cargo insurance within regional countries.

 

The development of a stakeholder network within country and sales management is an important part of the job. You should expect to have a number of days travelling to visit DSV branches and/or your customers. It is, therefore, important that you are flexible and willing to travel and work at different locations. 

 

Daily tasks will be in our Sales organization in DSV Insurance A/S, our Group Insurance captive, where you will be supported by our own team of underwriters and claims handlers. You will be based in Clark, NJ and will report to Director, Insurance Sales in DSV Insurance A/S

Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate that has experience with:
-    sales and a commercial approach to customers in general
-    cargo insurance terms 
-    freight forwarding 

 

A successful candidate will have good communication skills, both oral and written.  As a person you are capable of taking responsibility for change and innovation as well as solving new and unfamiliar problems. You are comfortable in a busy environment and also with meeting new people frequently.  You have a sense of urgency and a personal impact so that people will listen to you.  And finally, it helps to have an understanding of different cultures.
