Job Posting Title: Transportation Supervisor- Data Center

POSITION SUMMARY  
The Transportation Supervisor will oversee the daily logistics, personnel, and fleet operations of the Data Center. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Coordinating transportation operations throughout the data center campus including pick-ups/transfers between facilities.
  • Managing the data center drivers and driver schedules.
  • Planning routine maintenance and repairs on box trucks and ensuring vehicles are properly maintained. 
  • Manage the fuel program.
  • Manage data center driver training.
  • Tracking in-bound/out-bound transit loads. 
  • Enforcing safety regulations.
  • Resolving any logistical issues. 
     
 
OTHER DUTIES (Site Specific) 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Leads, develops, and coaches team of 5-10 employees  
 
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  
 
Education and/or Experience 
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).  
  •   2 years’ experience in a leadership role involving logistics or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
  • Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate 
 
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES 
 
Computer Skills 
  • Basic knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) 
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications 
 
Language Skills 
  • English (reading, writing, verbal) 
 
Other 
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • General understanding of the Supply Chain Management and Logistics industry
