Move forward as Freight Forwarder LCL Export at DSV in Dordrecht

Being responsible with your team for organizing transports abroad. For large customers in sectors such as retail, healthcare, renewable energy and automotive. . That's what you do!

Ensuring with your colleagues that export shipments are efficiently and correctly shipped to the other side of the world: you participate in it.

How do you do this? By being a freight forwarder LCL export who communicates clearly and honestly every working day with your contacts from international clients, senders, co-loaders, and (international) colleagues. You ensure that shipments are booked and transported on time at the right rate with the co-loader or our own gateways and transporters. To grow together. You achieve this by:

• converting customer orders into bookings with carriers, co-loader and gateways;
• drawing up shipping instructions, documentation and maintaining files;
• providing updates to the customer, via telephone and email, about current shipments.

Your team stands out within DSV for its cohesion. The team has been together for quite some time and therefore has the necessary experience. You can learn a lot within this team from your colleagues and further develop yourself. Besides the seniority of the team, it is an informal team where communication lines are short and jokes are welcome.

You bring

• mbo work and thinking level;
• at least 1 years of work experience in freight forwarding, preferably in the field of LCL export;
• knowledge of the English language to be able to speak or e-mail with the customer.
