Move forward as Key Accountmanager at DSV in Dordrecht

Are you sharp at detecting commercial opportunities and do you have the right knowledge and skills to turn them into successful deals? Do you have a talent for building and maintaining networks, both internally and externally? Then we're looking for you!

Detecting commercial opportunities where you use your knowledge and skills to achieve a successful deal: you work on it.

 

How do you do this? As a key accountmanager, you are responsible for developing account plans for new and existing accounts. You work closely with operational managers to deliver tailor-made solutions. Additionally, you build an extensive network, both internally and externally, and actively approach potential accounts. You provide quotations and follow them up. You also make a valuable contribution to the annual Sales & Marketing plan. You achieve this by:

  • gathering adequate management information from the market(position) to be able to assess the account plan;
  • ensuring correct documentation of all relevant account information in the sales information systems.

You bring

  • a completed HBO (university of applied sciences) degree preferably in a commercial field;
  • experience in a commercial field sales role;
  • knowledge of road transport and logistics;
  • excellent command of both Dutch and English languages.
