Within our ICP department, you ensure that drivers and international routes are perfectly aligned. With 60 dedicated drivers, challenging routes across Europe, and daily changes, no two days are the same. Resource planner and puzzle master? Play in a different league. With us, DSV Moerdijk.

At our brand-new logistics park in Moerdijk, you will help build our freight management operation. Whether it’s pallets or parcels, we deliver worldwide. Fast, smart, and sustainable; You’re on it.

How you do this? As a resource planner, you ensure that international routes and drivers are perfectly matched. Based on information provided by the transport planner, you actively search for the right available driver from our dedicated pool of charters. In addition, you make sure our own assets are used as efficiently as possible and you coordinate closely with other DSV locations. Together with 4 colleagues, you maintain overview in a fast-paced planning environment. You manage changes, switch quickly, and ensure everything keeps moving across Europe. You achieve this by:

•    matching drivers and charters to international routes (taking into account driving hours, ADR regulations, trailer requirements, and complex multi-stop routes); 
•    monitoring vehicles and routes daily and anticipate deviations; 
•    solving last-minute issues and coordinate alternative solutions with other DSV locations; 
•    processing planning updates, changes, and administration in Excel; 
•    you also contribute to special logistics projects such as relocations within The Netherlands and assignments from Air & Sea or Contract Logistics.

You bring

•    experience with resource planning and preferably also international planning, for example in a role as transport planner, resource planner, or transport coordinator; 
•    an energetic personality, sociable, and not afraid to speak up and share your opinion; 
•    strong organizational skills, able to recognize patterns and bring structure to a fast-moving logistics environment; 
•    a good command of both Dutch (B2 level) and English.
