Move forward as Transport Planner Groupage at DSV in Moerdijk

You get it done
For our groupage road transport shipments to and from the UK and Ireland, you will identify the most efficient and cost-effective routes. You work closely with colleagues, stay in daily contact with our partners, and provide our route planners with the essential data needed to keep our trucks fully loaded and moving; You’re on it.

How you do this? Together with your team of 7 colleagues, you ensure our groupage lines run smoothly. From the first loading address to the final pallet delivery. You maintain oversight of active shipments, quickly identify which trucks still need loading, and coordinate efficiently with the crossdock, customers, and colleagues. You arrange the correct documentation, monitor deviations, and take action when needed. Customer satisfied? Great! On to the next shipment. You achieve this by:

• processing incoming orders through CargoLink and sending assignments to our carriers;
• responding to loading location inquiries, providing license plate details, and preparing transport documentation;
• answering customer questions, updating clients on transport status, and proactively checking for available shipments;
• coordinating with our Road location in Tilburg and supporting route planners with vital operational input.

You bring

• experience within the transport sector or a similar role is beneficial, but not essential;
• you are motivated and eager to learn new skills;
• a strong attention to detail, and communicate easily by phone;
• you thrive in teamwork, perform well in a fast-paced environment, and communicate confidently in both Dutch (B2) and English.
