DSV Solutions is looking for a new person to join our team in Bucharest and fill the role of Continuous Improvement Specialist.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing our processes and ensuring the efficiency of our operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Planning activities within Continuous Improvement projects, monitoring schedules, and ensuring their successful implementation;
• Conducting audits of newly implemented processes and promptly addressing any deviations;
• Collaborating with project teams to identify improvement opportunities, focusing on waste reduction, addressing recurring issues, and deviations from KPIs;
• Analyzing warehouse-specific logistics processes through time-studies, performing statistical analyses, and initiating improvement initiatives;
• Providing training, development, and support in Lean Six Sigma methodologies to employees designated as Continuous Improvement multipliers;
• Calculating monthly benefits from implemented improvement projects or estimating potential benefits for pipeline projects;
• Monitoring specific warehouse, transportation, and project-related KPIs and taking corrective actions in case of deviations;
• Compiling monthly status reports on Continuous Improvement activities in the Word Wide Group DSV database.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Specialization in the general theory of continuous improvement, with a particular focus on applying Lean methods (VSD, 5S, Coaching, Lean Logistics, and Problem Solving);
• Previous experience in the field of logistics;
• Strong communication, organizational, and facilitation skills;
• Knowledge of Process and Project Management;
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and English language;
