DSV Dubai is looking to strengthen our regional team with the appointment of a Senior Product Manager, Air Freight. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for driving the development, performance and growth of the air freight product portfolio. The role focuses on strategic product development and growth initiatives, supported by a strong commercial drive to enhance market competitiveness. It requires close collaboration between local and global product and commercial organizations to ensure alignment, consistency, and the successful delivery of our business objectives.

Detailed Responsibilities: 

RFQ/RFI Management

Take an active lead in handling and steering global and regional customer portfolio. RFQs/RFIs in close cooperation with the Global Tender Management team, ensuring competitive and customer-centric solution

Strategic Alignment

Align closely with Key Account Management and GTM teams on overall strategy, lane pair prioritization, and solution design to secure sustainable growth in the respective vertical.

Market & Customer Insights

Conduct in-depth research into the respective vertical market, monitoring industry trends, shifts in global production, and evolving customer strategies. Identify areas where DSV can position itself as a preferred partner in air freight.

Customer Engagement

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement — via face-to-face meetings, digital channels, and proactive support. Translate customers’ needs into actionable solutions. Provide customers with timely market updates, insights, and guidance tailored to the VM sector, reinforcing DSV’s role as a trusted partner

Carrier & Program Collaboration

Maintain close dialogue with airline partners and DSV’s in-house flight program (Air Direct) to design and deliver innovative, cost-effective, and reliable air freight solutions. Actively coordinating MEA portion of Air Connect RFQ between all stakeholders (internal & external)

Performance & Escalation Support

Support the execution of awarded business by liaising with operations and product management to ensure service quality. Step in to address escalations swiftly, safeguarding customer satisfaction and DSV’s reputation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with regional and global colleagues across Product Ocean, Road and Contract Logistics

Qualifications & Characteristics:

• Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years’ experience in air freight procurement role in a global forwarding or logistics company.
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• In depth knowledge of operations
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal management skills
