Role: Freight Forwarder 
Location: Air & Sea Dublin 
Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 

We are seeking a proactive and organised Freight Forwarder to join our Ocean/Air Operations team in Dublin. In this role, you will support the Air & Sea Supervisor by coordinating customer shipments, ensuring compliance, maintaining documentation, and providing exceptional service throughout the freight lifecycle. You will work closely with customers, subcontractors, and overseas agents to deliver operational efficiency and service excellence. 

What will you be doing? 

• Use company in‑house systems to complete all operational documentation and processes. 

• Organise daily workflow to meet customer timeframes and delivery expectations. 

• Communicate with customers to obtain shipment details and ensure their needs are met. 

• Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements. 

• Maintain Customer Profiles and SOPs. 

• Resolve customer queries, escalating when necessary. 

• Liaise with subcontractors to arrange the transport and carriage of goods. 

• Raise invoices to customers and overseas agents in line with agreed tariffs. 

• Monitor profit & loss performance on individual shipments. 

• Complete administrative tasks fully and accurately in line with company procedures. 

About You 

• Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative. 

• Strong task prioritisation skills and excellent attention to detail. 

• Good knowledge and experience in the Ocean Freight market. 

• Skilled in negotiating with shipping lines, suppliers, and overseas offices. 

• Excellent problem‑solving, planning, and organisation skills. 

• Strong communication and telephone skills. 

• Strong customer service and administrative capability. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. 

• Commercial awareness with an understanding of shipment profitability.
