Operations Manager
Blanchardstown - Dublin
Mon-Fri 08.00-16.30, 37.5 hours

As an Operations Manager within our Contract Logistics division, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused warehouse operations while leading high-performing teams across multiple functions.

What will you be doing?
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of warehouse operations, ensuring contractual commitments, service levels, and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading daily operations across Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Control, Spares, and Decommissioning functions.
• Managing operational performance, productivity, and service delivery across multiple shifts.
• Ensuring customer SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations are achieved.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Building strong relationships with customers and acting as the primary operational contact.
• Leading operational review meetings and presenting performance reports and KPI updates.
• Monitoring productivity, inventory accuracy, labour utilisation, order accuracy, and service performance.
• Managing workforce planning and resource allocation to meet operational demand.
• Developing, coaching, and supporting Supervisors, Team Leaders, and operational teams.
• Promoting a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, safety, and engagement.
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Leading accident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions where required
About you
To succeed in this role, you will be a confident leader with experience managing complex warehouse operations within a Contract Logistics environment.
You will bring:
• Proven experience managing warehouse operations within a Contract Logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong leadership experience managing large operational teams across multiple shifts.
• Experience overseeing inbound, outbound, inventory management, spares, or value-added services operations.
• A strong customer focus with excellent relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience analysing operational data and driving performance improvements.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive approach to health, safety, and operational excellence.
