We're looking for a Senior Operational Excellence Specialist to champion operational excellence across our Contract Logistics operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys getting into the details, challenging the status quo, and partnering with teams to make meaningful improvements that stick.

You'll work across Operations, Projects, IT, and Commercial teams to identify opportunities, streamline processes, and deliver initiatives that improve productivity, service, quality, and the customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Driving Operational Excellence

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and service delivery.
• Facilitate Lean, Kaizen, and problem-solving workshops.
• Standardise best practices and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
• Turn challenges into opportunities and ideas into action.

Leading Business Transformation

• Partner with operational leaders to design and implement smarter ways of working.
• Support business transformation, automation, and new customer implementations.
• Lead process mapping and future-state design activities.
• Deliver sustainable improvements that create measurable business value.

Using Data to Drive Results

• Analyse operational performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop meaningful reporting and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• Measure, track, and report on improvement project outcomes and benefits.
• Help leaders make informed, data-driven decisions.

Influencing, Coaching & Developing Others

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
• Lead change management activities that drive successful adoption.
• Coach and mentor teams on CI tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Promote a mindset of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

About You

You're naturally curious, commercially minded, and passionate about making things better. You thrive on solving problems, influencing change, and delivering results that make a real difference.

You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or 3PL environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
• A track record of delivering successful transformation and improvement projects.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Power BI and Excel.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• The confidence to challenge existing processes and drive positive change.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (highly regarded).
