You bet! We are going to fully prepare you for the role of import air freight expediter. Like magic, you will make sure our customers always find the perfect transport solution for any kind of cargo. Soon, you will be completely at home in the world of air freight, becoming a logistics expert for our customers. Yes! That means even more satisfied customers and the best part: you’re on it.

How you do this? As long as you give it your all, anything is possible. We will teach you how to book shipments, negotiate prices, quote rates, prepare freight and customs documents, and manage customer relationships. Soon, you will navigate the world of airlines, agents, and carriers like a pro. You will become indispensable to both us and our customers. From junior expediter to team lead, everything is within reach when you are ready to put in the effort and learn. You achieve this by:

• processing incoming orders (in Cargowise) and converting them into import shipments;
• booking import air freight shipments with airlines, agents, or carriers (possibly also organizing road transport);
• preparing the necessary freight or customs documents;
• monitoring booked shipments and updating customers on the status of their transport via phone and email;
• setting up air freight files and invoicing.

You bring

• education at mbo level 4 or you are working in logistics and want to develop yourself;
• ambition, you are driven and eager to grow within DSV;
• you value humor and have a solution-oriented mindset, with a customer-first approach;
• a good command of Dutch (B2) and you are proficient in English.
