Perform specific activities relating to Excel reporting, database maintenance, order processing, warehouse receiving, shipping and inventory control. Create, coordinate and complete shipments of goods between company and clients.

Coordinate with off-site logistics locations, suppliers and vendor to meet deadlines and track all shipments. Ensure the completion, accuracy, and delivery of transactions for clients. May dispatch request to transportation providers. Assisting with any clerical and floor duties required by management.





  • Maintain a professional image to internal and external clients.
  • MS Excel database maintenance.
  • MS Excel analysis and reporting.
  • MS Excel proficient with proof of knowledge.
  • Prepare billing jobs based on MS Excel volume and shipment reports.
  • E-mail responses to all requests (internal and external) in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  • Prepare required activity MS Excel reports accurately and efficiently for site management.
  • Adheres to specific warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value add services as required in accordance to DSV standard policies and procedures.
  • Visual inspect shipments/product (as required within your work area) for potential damage.
  • Ensure proper identification, staging, movement and handling of product as required by procedures.
  • Report with MS Excel any operating supply shortages to coordinators/warehouse supervisors.
  • Shipping Department: use of WMS to enter outbound orders including RF Scanner, build shipments, confirm shipments, and enter shipment information as required. Other tasks include signing outbound drivers in and out of driver database, printing and confirming shipment order paperwork. Cross-reference Data using MS Excel from different database sources.
  • Receiving Department: use of WMS to enter and confirm receipts including RF Scanner, enter inbound receipt and compliance data, create and confirm inbound appointments. Other task include printing and assembling inbound paperwork, signing drivers in and out of the inbound driver log, signing for inbound shipments
  • Print and dispense pick tickets and labels.
  • Participate in site Quality and Safety initiatives, to be communicated via MS Excel reporting.
  • Communicate with customers, telephonically, electronically, or in person.
  • Reports inconsistencies or problems to supervisor or team leader.
  • Assists in maintaining cleanliness of work environment.
  • May work as part of a team or independently.
  • Active participation in Safety Program, to include but not limited to, Hazardous Communications and Emergency Response programs in order to ensure a safe work environment for all persons within the facility.
  • Abide by the company policies and procedures as listed in the Employee Manual or other communicated rules and/or regulations.
  • Document processing and logistical support encompassing a variety of duties to include data entry, copying, faxing, filing, and labeling.
  • Assisting with any clerical and floor duties management requires.



May perform other clerical and administrative tasks as guided by site management to include (but not limited to):

  • answering telephones, filing, record keeping, and data entry support.
  • Warehouse work as needed (relocating, unload/load trucks, labeling, cycle counting, etc)
  • Performs other duties as required
  • Analyzing and reporting MS Excel databases.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School or GED
  • Medium to high expertise in using MS Excel (will be tested)
  • 1-3 years Manufacturing OR distribution/logistics experience
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish (reading, writing, verbal)
  • 1-3 years of experience working with WMS
  • 1-3 years basic math computation experience
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
  • Forklift Certificate/License



Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, emphasis on MS Excel
  • WMS / RF Scanner
  • Label Maker Applications


Language Skills

  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Spanish (reading, writing, verbal)
