DSV Air and Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Project Specialist in Perth.

The position is responsible for project planning and arranging/coordinating West Coast projects by compiling, completing and verifying the necessary documents in according with company policy and procedure.

Your typical day at DSV:

- Handle day-to-day operations of project logistics via all modes of transport
- Analyse freight options to identify suitable services and logistical solutions
- Provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders including maintaining exceptional relationships with customer operational staff, carriers, sub-contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Act as a focal point of contact for clients, partners, and overseas offices for operations related issues
- Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to procure competitive rates, services terms and conditions
- Prepare RFI/RFQ and competitive quotes for Air/Sea, Out of Gauge, Breakbulk and Domestic Road/Air shipments, assist commercial team with tenders and proposals 
- Attend site visits and client meetings, ensuring project compliance and safety requirements, and efficient administration and reporting
- Process orders in CW1, monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, update milestones ensuring KPIs are met at all times 
- Complete billing / costing jobs in line with company policy and KPIs

About You:

- Good understanding of the Freight Forwarding Sector
- Knowledge and experience of working with CargoWise One
- Strong professional communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to built strong relationships
- Result oriented and high attention to processing details
- Driven to achieve success by seizing opportunities and identifying business opportunities
