Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and providing recommendations.
- Prepare financial analysis and reports to support business decision-making, working closely with the leadership team.
- Support the business in producing management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Analyze trends, financial performance, and business assumptions to contribute to the forecasting process.
- Work with department heads to ensure accurate and timely submission of departmental budgets and financial data.
- Provide insights into financial data to aid in business planning and strategy development.
- Collaborate with other departments to evaluate financial feasibility and support operational decisions.
- Review financial models to assess potential business opportunities or cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Support the business heads in overseeing internal controls, financial audits, and compliance reporting.
- Assist in ensuring timely and accurate submission of statutory filings and regulatory reports.
- Assist in improving financial reporting processes, systems, and tools.
- Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency in financial operations and reporting.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects as requested by the senior management.
- Prepare business cases and financial models for new projects or investments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business operations and their financial implications.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members or interns within the finance team.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, or related discipline
- At least 8 years of experience Accounting & Finance Analysis & Reporting
