Role
As Contract Manager you will be responsible for managing all logistics contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and overseeing the execution of contracts from initiation to completion.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery of logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of logistics-related contracts, ensuring alignment with organization objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage contract templates, terms and conditions, and other related documents.
- Ensure that all contracts are in compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., procurement, legal, finance) and external suppliers/contractors to ensure contract performance.
- Provide advice and support to project managers and other teams on contract-related matters.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure contract execution aligns with expectations.
- Track contract performance, including service levels, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Identify and resolve any performance issues or disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular reviews of contracts to ensure continuous compliance and optimal performance.
- Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively manage disputes or issues related to contracts, ensuring that Organization interests are protected.
- Monitor contract amendments and extensions and ensure timely resolution of any conflicts.
- Work with finance teams to ensure accurate budgeting and financial reporting related to logistics contracts.
- Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Prepare detailed reports on contract performance, progress, and issues for senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract documents, correspondence, and related materials.
- Ensure proper archiving and documentation for future reference and audits.
