HR Specialist

Move forward as HR Specialist at DSV in Ghent.

About the role

Together with your colleague HR Assistant and Supervisor, HR Business Partner, you will support numerous administrative HR processes and HR projects.

You will spend 50% of your time on administrative support and the other 50% working on various HR projects. In short, a challenging and varied position!

Tasks:

• Working out various HR-related projects (onboarding, continuous improvement, HR processes, training and development, etc.);
• Active participation in payroll preparation (for salaried and temporary employees);
• Onboarding of new employees & administrative support such as preparing employment contracts, policies, ordering Smartphone, laptop, etc;
• Management and follow-up of short- and long-term sickness and industrial accidents;
• Management and registration of training courses;
• Point of contact for employees with questions on social legislation;
• Supporting the HR Business Partner with ad hoc activities;
• Drafting and analysing reports (trade union council, management meeting, etc.);
• Managing contacts with employment agencies;
• Managing and checking invoices (employment agencies, training, gifts, ...).

Are you the perfect fit?

• You recently obtained your bachelor or master degree (HR, Marketing, Communication Sciences, ...) and you already have a first working experience;
• You like working in an international and dynamic environment;
• You like taking the lead and can coordinate our projects from A-Z;
• You are structured, orderly and precise;
• You have strong language skills (NL, ENG and FR);
• You like to take initiative and can handle a high degree of responsibility;
• You are comfortable in an environment with short lines of communication and a low hierarchy.
