Resource Planner

About the role

Are you ready to take on the challenge as a Resource Planner at DSV? You will be responsible for achieving cost-effective deployment of Blue collar workers (both permanent and flex) across multiple DSV locations. You will do this by optimally using our workforce management (WFM) tool and effective pool management, considering the demand forecasts of our customers.

Other tasks

• Determine the optimal pool size and composition based on customer forecasts;
• Gain insight into the competency matrix and training needs of the pool;
• Plan permanent employees across various locations for long, medium, and short terms;
• Deploy the flex pool with staffing agencies and respond to daily changes;
• Analyze KPI reports and develop action plans with staffing agencies;
• Continuously improve the WFM tool and make recommendations to operations;
• Conduct scenario planning and provide advice to operational managers.

Are you the perfect fit?

• You have at least two years of experience as a resource planner (e.g., within the staffing sector, hospitals, etc.);
• A background or experience in a logistics environment is a strong advantage;
• You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English;
• You are a team player but can also work well independently, are problem-solving oriented, and can establish a good structure and organization;
• You are flexible regarding working hours and location (traveling across Belgium and the Netherlands);
• You are proficient in Excel.
