Senior Data Engineer

About the role

The Business Technology team is an important part of our Data-driven decision-making, enabling DSV to grow and innovate in the dynamic world of transport and logistics: you will be working on it.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced data models and data flows. You manage and extend master data, striving for optimal performance and accuracy in report developments. You work closely with department heads and project leaders and are familiar with existing data applications such as BI technologies MS SQL Server, PowerBI, PowerAutomate and PowerApps to create innovative solutions. You get this done by:

• Analysing business requirements and alignment with stakeholders;
• Developing robust data flows and data warehouses;
• Performing technical assessments for optimal report performance;
• Manage and extend master data with precision;
• Creating comprehensive documentation and innovative BI solutions.

Are you the perfect fit?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT;
• You have extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server management (SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS);
• You have extensive knowledge of the MS Power platform (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApps);
• You have strong interest in exploring new BI technologies, applications and development methods;
• You are leery with exceptional analytical and creative thinking skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and proactive, results-oriented mindset, excellent communication and social skills, and the ability to work independently on project tasks.
