SUMMARY
The DSV Lead Logistics Business Analyst is responsible for soliciting, defining, and managing requirements for the DSV Lead Logistics systems and business processes.  The Business Analyst possesses a strong aptitude for building relationships between business and technology teams and acts as the conduit between them. They are a champion for the agile process and work to refine the process of delivering change to the Lead Logistics business.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Elicits requirements using interviews and workshops, document analysis and business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Delivers user stories that connect the business needs to actionable requirements for software developers and testable acceptance criteria for QA processes
  • Creates, refines and communicates business specifications to global delivery teams and assists during planning, development, testing and release cycles 
  • Supports systems integration design, mapping and testing activities for new customer or product interfaces
  • Assist with QA processes
  • Create system & release documentation

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, EDI Analyst
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Information Systems, or experience in lieu of education
  • 3PL or TMS experience preferred
  • Experience with TMS Application and Blue Yonder TMS a plus
  • Experience with process optimization 
  • 2 years Transportation/Logistics industry experience


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

 

Computer Skills

  • Experience with Business Intelligence Tools, Reporting and Content Management platforms is desired
  • Content Management and MS SharePoint knowledge is desired
  • Microsoft Office Suite


Language Skills

  • English (reading, writing, verbal)


Mathematical Skills

  • Intermediate

  • A deep understanding of the process of identifying and clarifying business requirements is desired, as well as innate talents around investigating and organizing business requirements.
