EDI Developer


Place of work: Guadalajara Mexico

As the electronic data interchange (EDI) developer you will be responsible for implementing project requirements into workable interfaces, enhancing existing EDI solutions, performing and writing test scenarios, enabling different system architectures to exchange automatic transactions, analyzing data interchange and customer technical specifications to deliver high business value IT solutions for both: internal and external customers around the globe. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge in development and logic in any language, C, C++, Java, etc.
  • Skills in SQL, changing and developing

Knowledge of XML, XPATH, CSV, JSON and positional flat files

  • Basic knowledge in creating business process (BP), XSLT
  • Knowledge with EDI standards EDIFACT and/or X12
  • Experience in map development and testing,
  • Monitoring own workload and deadlines,
  • Ability to share and co-work in development projects,
  • Knowledge of communication protocols: FTP,SFTP,HTTP,HTTPS,SMTP, and AS2,
  • Creating new and modifying existing technical documentation,
  • Familiar with continuous integration
  • Very good communication skills in English
  • Minimum two years experience in data exchange between IT systems 

Good to have:

  • Lightwell Framework
  • EDI mapping using specialized software. IBM Sterling Integrator and ITXA mapping tools
  • Experience in working in Agile and/or Scrum Framework
  • Experience in multicultural self-organized teams.
