Purpose of the position
|
|
|
Maintaining and Developing New Business through Sales
- Developing New Business and maintaining the existing customers for sales/branch.
- Alignment with Trade lane & Verticals Head for increasing the WIN ratio of business
- Achieve and Exceed the Individual Budget – if any
- Focus on generating Sales lead for Sales colleagues
- Reporting Sales Activities in CRM and to Sales Manager on daily basis

Key Tasks
|
|
Sales Activities
- Build and develop strong relationship with customers.
- Procuring rates from the product & sending rate quote proposal for the enquiries for all local sold businesses (Branch/Field Sales/Corp Sales)
- Preparing quotation in cargo wise 1 & ensuring auto rating for the client rate
- Sales coordinator / support to fixing meeting and other supporting activities
- Penetrate Deep Sales opportunity from all customers
- Generate business from sales lead received from Product heads, TLMs & IV Heads.
- Updating Sales manager with report through CRM on daily basis
- Preparing performance reports & management reports on monthly basis
- Maintaining of Quote Logger report
- Continue follow up with customers on rates quoted, negotiate and secure the business.
- Sharing complete instruction to operations, customer service for handling shipment
- Set up credit facility for customer when required and obtain necessary approval from HO following the process.
- To work with team on combined focus towards product and trade lane development.
- Any other relevant job assigned time to time.
Relationship Development
- Development of Interpersonal relationship among other departments staffs like operations, customer service, Key Accounts and Finance staffs.

Educational background / Work experience
|
- Minimum working experience of 2 Years in Sales in the field of Freight Forwarding.
- Minimum Graduate in any Discipline from reputed University.
- Master’s degree in management will be added value
|

Language Skills
|
- Fluent in English (other languages depending on the location)
|
|
Computer Literacy
|
- MS Office skills and good knowledge regarding IT systems
