Purpose of the position
|
|
|
To Target and close the top accounts operating in India with big volumes.
- Identification of top revenue accounts in for that particular region
- The profile includes the focus on Global and Key accounts in India.
- Closing the account as per the prefixed deadlines.
- Maintaining the Account as a relationship manager
- Outstanding Collections in time.
- Achievement of Budgeted GP & Volumes
- To facilitate team members to generate business by making joint calls with them.

Key Tasks
|
|
Business Development.
- To do Sales activity for DSV Air and Sea Pvt Ltd for the particular region.
- Build Business relations with Prospects & Existing customers by regular client visits.
- Follow-up on Quotations and obtain customer feedback.
- Negotiate and Close deals.
- Achieve set individual GP & Volume target set by management.
- Generate Sales leads for Overseas Branches
- To work towards achieving set Sales KPI’s of the Branch.
- To jointly work with the team in Trade lane development.
- To perform regular market surveys and gauge the market pulse and keep abreast with the moves of the Competition.
- To collect regular feedback from Customers to gauge Customer delight and effect improvement wherever necessary
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (product, pricing, operations) to enhance service offerings

Authorities as delegated by the Regional Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager, in accordance with DSV standards and guidelines

- Good knowledge of our products and the global trade lanes

|
- Influencing skills in order to focus the sales activities from several stakeholders
- Ability to organize, including prioritizing, planning, assigning and controlling objectives
- Understanding of the company and sales strategy with the capability of break down the strategy to the route
- Analytical skills e.g. sales review and performance management
- Strong financial and business awareness, thinks analytically and is skilled at identifying business opportunities and setting respective route development strategy
- Ability to read and conceptualize financial plans for the route
- Good ability to communicate and network with cross-cultural sensitivity
- Result oriented and places great emphasis on customer focus

Educational background / Work experience
|
- Min 5 years of freight sales experience in the industry essentially into direct sales with strong network (large size customers)
- Gathering and analyzing of market data (various industries)
- Worked in an international company within a matrix organization
- Graduate/MBA
|

Language Skills
|
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Other languages (written and spoken) preferred
|
|
Computer Literacy
|
- Good knowledge of Microsoft® Office Software (Excel®, Word, PowerPoint® and others)
- Good knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools, Microsoft Dynamic Tools
