About the Role
In this position, you will report to the Business Analytics team and work closely with the management team in DSV Contract Logistics in Horsens or Hedehusene. As a key business partner, you will support the local leadership in all business‑economic matters and help strengthen our controlling activities. You will contribute to both local and national projects and act as a vital link between operations and the finance department.
About the Team
The Business Analytics team currently consists of one Business Analytics Specialist, two Logistics Engineers who are PhD students, and three Logistics Coordinators responsible for settlement and controlling. Together, the team combines strong analytical expertise with solid operational competencies to ensure data‑driven decision‑making and accurate financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse management information (P&L, KPIs) and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and optimise cost analyses of suppliers and internal control processes within operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve working methods and procedures and lead the implementation of these improvements.
- Prepare financial forecasts.
- Develop business cases and other decision‑support calculations.
- Perform controlling of investment projects and customer implementations.
- Provide commercial control and support to office administration.
Strong relationships with local management, employees, and the Shared Service Centre are essential for success in this role.
We Are Looking For

In addition, the ideal candidate will have:
- A completed bachelor’s degree or another academic degree (master’s), preferably within finance or economics.
- At least five years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a proactive, hands‑on mindset.
- Proficiency in both Danish and English, spoken and written.
- Experience and/or interest in the logistics sector (an advantage).
