Finance Process and System Specialist

Business Change Management (BCM)

Job Req Number:  43309
Time Type: Full Time

Do you have finance experience and a talent for systems and processes? And are you ready to make your next career move and embark on an international career in a large global organisation?

As finance process and system specialist in Group Finance at DSV, you get to further hone your skills, impact our processes and systems and engage in exciting projects that contribute to the continued success and growth of DSV.

Join a strategic team in an international setting

You will be welcomed into our spacious and aesthetic office in Hedehusene, Denmark. Here, you will join Business Change Management (BCM) within Finance Transformation as part of our Operational Projects team.

BCM implements global finance processes and tools across our divisions. Most recently, we have played a key role in the integration of Agility GIL and a global migration of our SAP platform to S/4 HANA. The Operational Projects team works mainly on implementation of E2E processes pertaining to our “Road Way Forward” programme, one of the top priorities within DSV.

As part of this strategical team, you will work alongside fellow process specialists and change managers in a global project-based environment, where things often move quickly.

Design and implement new processes and systems

As finance process and system specialist, you will work closely with our global process owners, IT, and your colleagues from the Road division to design, develop, and roll out new E2E processes. You will be focusing on the development and configuration aspects and optimise system and processes to ensure automated and efficient processes.

Thus, stepping into a very varied and flexible workday where you can look forward to coordinating tasks, investigating issues, finding solutions, and engaging with stakeholders.

More specifically, you will:

  • Build extensive system and process knowledge
  • Document requirements, processes, and decisions
  • Develop and maintain good professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in gap workshops
  • Assist the team’s Senior Finance Process and System Specialist in prioritising and solving incoming support and development tasks
  • Participate in testing and training

Quick thinker and eager to learn

There are many stakeholders in the “Road Way Forward” programme. As such, it is important that you excel in collaborating at multiple organisational levels. Likewise, it is important that you know how to navigate the complexity of a large global project organisation where scalability, automation, and standardisation rank high on the agenda.

You will also need to have great analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Moreover, you are quick to think on your feet, and you enjoy solving complex problems in collaboration with others.

Also, we imagine that you:

  • Are eager to learn and have a keen interest in IT and Finance
  • Have experience with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA
  • Have experience in Finance, preferably within the area of AR, AP, GL and/or performance reporting
  • Have hands-on project experience
  • Have strong communication skills and speak and write English effortlessly
  • Are able and willing to travel for gap workshops, training, UAT and sometimes also for hypercare.
