Do you have finance experience and a talent for systems and processes? And are you ready to make your next career move and embark on an international career in a large global organisation?

As Business Change Manager in the Operational Finance team in Group Finance at DSV, you get to further hone your skills, impact our processes and systems, and engage in exciting projects that contribute to the continued success and growth of DSV.

Join a strategic team in an international setting

You will be welcomed into our spacious and aesthetic office in Hedehusene, Denmark. Here, you will join our Business Change Management (BCM, Ops Fin) team within Finance Transformation focusing on operational finance processes like settlement and cost registration.

The Business Change Management Operational Finance team implements global finance processes and tools across our divisions focusing on settlement and costs registration processes. Most recently, we have played a key role in the implementation of end-to-end processes pertaining to our “Road Way Forward” programme, one of the top priorities within DSV.

As part of this strategical team, you will work alongside fellow process specialists and change managers in a global project-based environment, where things often move quickly.

Design and implement new processes and systems

As a Business Change Manager in the Operational Finance team, you will work closely with our global process owners, IT, and your colleagues from the divisions to design, develop, and roll out new end-to-end processes to ensure automated and efficient processes.

Part of the role is to perform change management as an integrated part of finance projects to smoothen the implementation and ensure adoption of new processes and systems. Amongst other, this includes engaging pro-actively and constructively with stakeholders, doing impact assessments, and preparing and executing training.

Another key element of the role is to handle System Change Requests. This task will require you to bring forth your analytical skills to investigate requirements, identify solutions, outline pro’s & cons, and facilitate decision making. You will also be testing the solutions so this is a role where hands on experience with SAP ERP is needed.

Thus, stepping into a very varied and flexible workday where you can look forward to coordinating tasks, investigating issues, finding solutions, and engaging with stakeholders.

More specifically, you will:

  • Build extensive system and process knowledge
  • Develop and maintain good professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in GAP workshops
  • Document requirements, processes, and decisions
  • Do change impact assessments
  • Prepare test scripts and perform testing
  • Prepare training material and train key users and end users
  • Support during hypercare

Quick thinker and eager to learn

There are many stakeholders in the “Road Way Forward” programme. As such, it is important that you excel in collaborating at multiple organisational levels. Likewise, it is important that you know how to navigate in the complexity of a large global project organisation where scalability, automation, and standardisation rank high on the agenda.

You will also need to have great analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Moreover, you are quick to think on your feet, and you enjoy solving complex problems in collaboration with others.

Also, we imagine that you:

  • Are eager to learn and have a keen interest in IT and Finance
  • Have experience with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA
  • Have experience in Finance, preferably within the area of AR, AP and GL
  • Have hands-on project experience
  • Have strong communication skills and speak and write English effortlessly
  • Are able and willing to travel for gap workshops, training, UAT and sometimes also for hypercare.
