Help translate IT capabilities into commercial value at a global scale

At DSV, we are building a Commercial IT function in Global IT to do exactly that and we’re looking for a Commercial IT Enablement Manager to help shape this new function from the ground up.

About the role
As Commercial IT Enablement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping the new Commercial IT function at DSV. Acting as the critical link between IT and Sales, you ensure a shared, realistic understanding of what DSV’s IT solutions can do and how they can be positioned and sold in a consistent, scalable and value-driven way.
You will translate IT capabilities, roadmaps and delivery prerequisites into clear commercial messaging and supply chain value propositions, enabling our sales organisation to succeed in customer dialogue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create, maintain and iterate on the Commercial IT enablement framework, including governance, structure and ways of working
- Actively planning, prioritising and executing Commercial IT activities that will support correct positioning of supply chain value outcomes in sales dialogues
- Collecting, analysing and structuring requirements from Sales and IT to enable consistent commercial use of IT services
- Ensuring alignment between IT roadmaps, the service catalogue and commercial messaging to support coherent go to market execution
In this role, you are empowered to take initiative, influence direction and help define how Commercial IT should work in practice – playing in a different league within a truly global organisation.
We work in an international environment, collaborating closely with colleagues across Global IT and the business. You will be joining the Business Engagement & RPA team, a team that is part of Enterprise Integrations, an area with over 500 colleagues worldwide. We are currently building Commercial IT from the ground up and believe that strong results are created by people who want to collaborate, take ownership and support each other.

About you
You are an experienced professional with a proven track record of working at the intersection of IT and business. You are hands‑on, structured and solution‑oriented, and you influence through expertise, credibility and strong collaboration rather than formal authority.
To succeed in the role, you bring:
- Solid experience bridging IT and commercial/business functions, preferably from a larger, international organisation
- Strong execution and planning skills, enabling you to drive complex topics forward in cross‑functional environments
- Experience with selling or commercially supporting IT solutions and a strong understanding of sales organisations’ challenges when explaining technical solutions to customers
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders across functions and seniority levels, capture requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications
- Understanding of IT solutions supporting transportation and supply chain processes is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
- Experience working with SharePoint and utilising AI tools is considered a plus
- Clear and confident communication skills in English, both written and spoken
