Job Req Number: 111959
Time Type: Full Time
We’re looking for a Data Analyst who brings structure and clarity to how data is understood, aligned, and connected across an Enterprise Data Platform. You take ownership of how business concepts, source data, and platform models are mapped end-to-end, ensuring consistency, reuse, and clarity across domains and products.
This role is for a hands-on specialist who raises the bar on data analysis quality, documentation, collaboration, and who remains effective in a fast-moving, complex delivery environment where priorities evolve. Working at the core of major digital programs, you ensure analytical work is rigorous, aligned, and fit for reuse – driving value sprint by sprint.
Sounds like you? If so – join us and help set the standard for how data supports real enterprise impact.
About your role
Anchored in Global IT, Enterprise Business Development drives some of the most transformative digital initiatives in DSV – connecting data, intelligence, and workflows across divisions, systems, and geographies. In this role, you will work closely with Domain Squad Leads, architects, and Chapter Leads to translate needs into aligned, cross-domain solutions. You ensure capabilities are scalable, interoperable, and built for the long term – while delivering tangible value in every sprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support squads in complex data analysis and stakeholder situations, helping resolve ambiguities in source data, definitions, and ownership.
- Strengthen collaboration and ways of working between business, data, and engineering teams by acting as a bridge between business meaning and technical implementation.
- Validate and challenge data requirements and mappings to ensure alignment with the enterprise data platform vision, data mesh principles, and overall company strategy.
- Collaborate closely with solution architects, information architects, subject matter experts, business analysts, and squad leads to establish strong feedback loops that ensure end-to-end coherence, data quality, and semantic consistency.
- Perform in-depth data profiling and analysis to uncover patterns, anomalies, and inconsistencies in data.
- Develop and execute data validation and verification processes to document and improve data integrity and quality.
- Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate data profiling results and insights.
Qualifications
You are a trusted Data Analyst with strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate competing priorities in a complex, global, and matrix organisation. You are skilled at engaging stakeholders across both business and technical communities. You bring experience from large-scale agile delivery environments, you are comfortable supporting multiple squads in parallel, and you excel at translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that enable scalable solutions.
To thrive and succeed in this role, you have:
- 2-5 years of experience in roles such as Mapping Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist or similar senior positions.
- Proven ability to engage business and data stakeholders to capture business definitions, source data semantics, and transformation logic, and translate them into precise and usable data insights.
- Experience working closely with data engineers, solution architects, information architects, and product owners in data platform or analytics environments.
- Good knowledge of data platforms, data warehousing or lakehouse concepts, business intelligence, and data transformation patterns. Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or transport domains is beneficial, but not required.
- Experience with data profiling tools (e.g. Databricks, or similar).
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks and concepts such as data cleansing, data governance, and master data management.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data analysis (preferred).
- Knowledge of cloud systems (e.g. AWS or Azure) and experience in software development is an advantage.
Ready to take the next step?
We accept applications until 30th April 2026, but we screen candidates on an ongoing basis – so we recommend applying as early as possible. No cover letter is needed; just include a brief motivation in your CV.
