Job Req Number: 108451
Time Type: Full Time
Are you ready to take significant ownership in shaping the governance of some of the most fundamental data for the world’s leading freight forwarder? And do you want the responsibility for our location and party data to mark the beginning of your professional growth journey?
Then join us and contribute to our most important strategic project right now – the development and implementation of our enterprise data platform.
“The platform is just the beginning – for us and for you. Because there will be many new tools to implement going forward, this is the perfect time for you to join if you really want to leave your mark.”
With important deliveries comes great collaboration
You will join 6 colleagues in the Digital Products Department within Master Data Management. Here, each of us owns our processes end-to-end, with a clear focus on digitalization and automation.
“The pace is high – but so are the rewards. And even though we expect a lot from each other, there is also an acute awareness that we only succeed by supporting each other. So, you will have plenty of people in your corner.”
You own the processes of our location and party components
You will join us as we build our first-ever Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), which will consolidate all internal and external data sources. This will create one single source of truth for data, ensuring that all our data is accurate and up to date, and will enable us to embrace future technologies such as machine learning and AI.
Owning the location and party components of our EDP – which help us automatically identify customers and locations for freight – you will define governance to ensure high data quality. Acting as a business owner within the EDP programme, you will be accountable for all improvements, exploring new tools, and driving their implementation.
Working in an agile framework, you will, among other things:
- Define processes and business requirements for the location and party components to support the implementation of the EDP – and get involved in other projects once the EDP is fully implemented
- Create, implement and maintain standards, processes, data dictionaries, and other documentation related to location and party data within the EDP
- Manage data quality by defining, creating, and implementing appropriate qualitative and quantitative measures – while also identifying and mitigating risks and root causes of reduced quality
- Own the improvement pipeline, leading innovation, automation, and standardization with an unwavering focus on lessons learned
- Conduct regular training sessions with end-users and shared services to ensure governance is followed and processes are implemented
You know how to manage projects in a high-paced environment
Thriving in a corporate environment, you can create progress through others, balancing respect and openness to their perspectives with the ability to share your own compellingly.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
- Have experience with master data management processes and a strong understanding of business operations
- Have experience mapping, describing, and improving processes using various methodologies
- Might have experience with logistics or within IT, but either would just be a bonus
- Perhaps have experience with agile methodologies, Six Sigma, or Lean, and a PSPO certification is a plus
- Speak and write English fluently – Danish is not a requirement
