A Strategic Role at the Heart of Enterprise Business Development

As Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will lead a newly established function focused on building and deepening enterprise-level relationships with key customers. You will be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, driving joint strategic initiatives, and ensuring that DSV’s digital, operational and data capabilities are fully aligned to deliver measurable, long-term value.


The role reports to the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Business Development and is anchored in DSV’s Global IT organisation. Enterprise Business Development is DSV’s organization focusing on some of the most transformative digital initiatives in the Group, enabling DSV to act as one digital enterprise, connecting data, intelligence across divisions, customers, systems and geographies.


Location is DSV headquarters in Hedehusene, near Copenhagen.

Deliver Enterprise-Wide Customer Growth Through Strategic Partnership Leadership

Your most important deliverable will be to establish a structured, enterprise-wide framework for strategic customer partnerships, ensuring that DSV is positioned as a long-term, trusted collaborator through consistent governance, shared digital initiatives, and scalable, data-driven engagement models. You will be expected to build a high-performing global team, define governance and engagement models, and drive initiatives that create measurable value for both DSV and its customers.


More specifically, you will:

  • Map and consolidate the current portfolio of strategic customers to establish a clear enterprise-wide overview
  • Define and implement governance for qualifying, managing and growing strategic customer relationships
  • Drive key account strategies that identify customer needs, unlock mutual growth and strengthen long-term partnerships
  • Maintain a deep understanding of DSV’s full product suite and technical capabilities - as well as those of strategic customers - to enable value-driven collaboration
  • Build and lead a global high-performing Strategic Partnerships team that supports customers and executes defined initiatives
  • Serve as the primary liaison between strategic customers and Global IT, ensuring seamless collaboration and an exceptional customer experience
  • Foster cross-functional trust and a culture of accountability, ownership and shared success
  • Inspire and retain top talent through clarity of purpose, meaningful challenges and recognition of real impact
  • Lead by example, be decisive, structured and committed to excellence, while staying visible, empowering and human centric


Experienced Strategic Leader with Deep Industry Insight and Global Partnership Expertise

You are a strategic and trusted leader with a strong customer mindset and the ability to navigate complex organisations. You bring deep experience in managing enterprise-level relationships and translating corporate strategy into customer-facing initiatives. You thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about building partnerships that deliver measurable value and long-term impact.


To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise tech sales, customer success management or partnerships with B2B customers
  • A track record of developing and executing joint business plans with strategic customers driving mutual growth and innovation
  • Demonstrated ability to translate corporate strategy into customer-facing partnership initiatives
  • Deep understanding of the logistics and supply chain ecosystem, including shippers, carriers, 2–4PLs, freight forwarders and technology providers
  • Familiarity with digital logistics technologies (TMS, WMS, visibility platforms, automation, etc.) and how they drive customer value
  • Awareness of key market dynamics and emerging trends, such as sustainability, decarbonization, nearshoring and supply chain resilience
  • Experience in enabling global teams with cross-border people management
  • Strategic vision, operational precision and proven ability in navigating complex organisations
  • Exceptional communication skills and presence
  • Ability to challenge constructively and drive alignment
  • Integrity, stamina and authenticity under pressure
  • A consultancy mindset and a proven toolbox that allows you to convey solutions across all levels of an organisation
