Welcome to Group Finance Business Partnering – Road

Our ambition is clear: To combine financial acumen with strong business understanding and communication to drive results. We ensure financial clarity, transparency and strong performance follow-up at divisional, regional and country level.

We are a dedicated Finance Business Partnering team acting as the link between Group Finance and the Road organisation. We work closely with a broad range of stakeholders including the Road Division top management, Road CEO Office, Regional and Local Finance teams, Group Finance functions, and operational and commercial stakeholders.

Your role – From performance transparency to business impact

As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for a defined scope within the Road Division and act as a trusted financial sparring partner to senior stakeholders. You will support integration activities, including financial onboarding of new entities, alignment of reporting structures, and synergy performance follow-ups.

Performance Management & Monthly Reporting

• Own monthly performance reporting for your region or cluster
• Deliver clear variance analysis vs. budget, forecast and prior year
• Translate numbers into insights and identify risks and opportunities early
• Ensure consistency and quality in financial reporting

Forecasting & Planning

• Lead rolling forecasts and support the annual budget for your region or cluster
• Challenge assumptions and ensure realistic outlooks
• Support scenario modelling and sensitivity analyses

Business Partnering & Advisory

• Act as financial advisor to divisional, regional and local stakeholders
• Support commercial and operational decisions with financial analysis
• Contribute to business cases and performance improvement initiatives

Your profile

We are looking for a professional who combines strong financial understanding with business curiosity and communication skills.

You ideally:

• Have experience from business partnering, controlling, consulting or auditing in a global organisation
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in financial planning and BI tools (SAP, Power BI, CargoWise)
• Communicate clearly and can translate complex financial topics into actionable insights
• Thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
• Have a degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics

Fluency in English is required.
